Yara Libzo is an accomplished administrative and career-development professional with over two decades of experience across higher education, corporate relations, recruitment, and cultural initiatives. She currently serves as the Assistant to the Associate Dean and Foundations Director at the American University of Sharjah (AUS), where she has worked since 2013, following earlier roles in Career Services, Corporate Relations, and Recruitment & Training at the university
Her career spans leadership positions such as Office Manager to the CEO of Dubai Festival City, marketing roles with Shell Middle East, and consultancy work with Paris Gallery. Yara’s professional background also includes managing medical education and training programs at Syria’s Ministry of Health
Beyond her corporate and academic experience, Yara is an active cultural contributor. She is the founder of the Adiga Stars cultural website, has managed events for the Caucasian Society in the UAE, and has published one history book and two children’s stories. Her artistic work has been showcased in exhibitions in Germany, Istanbul, and Russia, and she participated in Dubai TV’s Ramadan program “Duroob 12” for 15 days
Yara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Old English Literature, a Diploma in Human Resources Management, and a Diploma in Novel Writing Skills.
