Mohammed Ali Khalaf Al-Tawil serves as General Counsel for the Group, offering expert guidance on legal, compliance, and corporate governance matters for Evolvence and all its subsidiaries, divisions, and portfolio entities. Before joining the Group in April 2012, Mr. Al-Tawil spent five years as Head of Legal and Compliance at Rasmala Investment Bank Ltd., a regional investment bank based in Dubai, UAE. In this role, he managed the bank’s legal and compliance operations across various jurisdictions and held the position of Deputy Money-Laundering Officer before the Dubai Financial Services Authority.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Al-Tawil worked at Jorden Burt LLP, a Washington, D.C.-based law firm, as a contract associate focused on large-scale insurance litigations in both trial and appellate courts.

Mr. Al-Tawil is licensed to practice law in the State of New York and is a member of the American Bar Association. He holds an MBA from the Kogod School of Business at American University and a JD from Michigan State University College of Law.
