After graduating from Damascus University, Dr. Helena Taylor moved to the United Kingdom to pursue her specialization. She earned her Royal College membership and Fellowship and continued to advance her knowledge in the field of Obstetrics. Dr. Taylor went on to receive her MD from Leeds University in the study of “pro and anti-inflammatory in the pathology of pre-eclampsia in high-risk pregnancies in 2009”. Her five-year research project, under the supervision of a world-renowned professor in medicine, resulted in international publications and speaking engagements at medical societies in Los Angeles, the USA, Canada, the UK, and Austria.
With 19 years of experience in England, Dr. Taylor moved to Dubai and started her own practice, the “Helena Taylor Clinic,” which began as a single-specialty clinic but has since expanded into a multi-specialty clinic offering health care in Pediatrics, Psychology, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Dermatology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology. In addition, the clinic boasts an active Physiotherapy and Osteopathy department. More than 50 staff members from various nationalities work at the clinic, which strives to offer comprehensive care for women and their families.
Dr. Taylor’s passion for her work has led her to embrace new challenges and opportunities. She was deeply inspired when she met Rami Al Ali and heard about his “Ard-Dyar concept.” His words and ideas resonated with her on a deep level, touching on what she felt was missing in her own life journey, and connecting the dots to fulfil the bigger picture of helping their country and people. For Dr. Taylor, this is the highest form of giving, and she is committed to making a difference in her community through her work as a physician and through her involvement in the Ard-Dyar project.
