Dr. Hani Massoud is a highly accomplished and respected Consultant Ophthalmologist with extensive experience in the field of eye care. He completed his Ophthalmology specialty at Liege University in Belgium and subsequently undertook a fellowship in Vitreo Retinal surgery in Paris, France, gaining valuable insights and expertise in this specialized area of ophthalmology.

For over 15 years, Dr. Massoud worked in public and private hospitals in Damascus, Syria, where he performed more than 20,000 successful eye surgeries. He also instructed students in training to graduate from the Arab Board of Ophthalmology program and served on the examination board of the Ministry of Health in Syria for over a decade.

Dr. Massoud has been invited to speak at many international ophthalmology congresses worldwide, sharing his knowledge and expertise with colleagues and peers in the field. He is also the author of the Ocular trauma part of the Arab Medical Encyclopedia, which was published in 2013.

Since 2013, Dr. Massoud has been based in Dubai, UAE, where he holds the position of Head of the Ophthalmology Department at Algarhoud Private Hospital. He is also the Head of the Cataract and Retinal Department at Sharif Eye Center, where he continues to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the advancement of ophthalmology through his expertise, research, and academic pursuits.
