Rania Kuzbari Ashur is the founder and CEO of Art For All, a company that has played a defining role in Dubai’s cultural landscape since 2002. Guided by a mission to make quality entertainment accessible, she has introduced world-class theatre, family shows, and art experiences to audiences across the UAE.
Born in Syria and having lived in Beirut, Paris, and the UK, Rania moved to Dubai in 2000 and immediately noticed the lack of engaging live entertainment for children. After attending a play in Beirut with her daughter, she saw an opportunity to bring similar experiences to the Emirates. This inspiration led to the launch of Art For All, which staged its first productions at Knowledge Village before expanding to UAE-wide tours by 2004 and GCC tours by 2012. Through partnerships with leading UK and US theatre companies, she brought acclaimed productions to the region, including Peter Pan on Ice, Cinderella on Ice, Angelina Ballerina, Shakespeare’s Globe performances, Elf The Musical, and popular children’s book adaptations such as Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Lion Inside, and There’s A Monster In Your Show.
Rania’s vision soon extended beyond children’s theatre. In 2020, she revitalized The Theatre at Mall of the Emirates during the pandemic, transforming it into a thriving cultural hub. This period saw a major expansion in programming for adults, along with curated art exhibitions such as The World of Banksy and Korea: Cubically Reimagined at the Art Centre overlooking the venue.
In 2023, she further strengthened Art For All’s role in Dubai’s cultural sector by taking on the management of Zabeel Theatre at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, curating high-quality entertainment that reflects the city’s diversity. Her commitment to visual arts continued in 2024 with the Andy Warhol The Glam Factory exhibition at Foundry Downtown Dubai, marking a deeper step into contemporary art.
With more than 1,800 shows produced and a dedicated team behind her, Rania remains driven by a passion for creativity and a belief that live entertainment should be accessible to all. Her leadership continues to shape the UAE’s cultural scene, fostering local talent and delivering memorable artistic experiences for families and communities across the region.
