Rawaa Talass is a Tokyo-born, Dubai-based freelance Syrian writer and journalist with a passion for exploring art, culture, and society from the Middle East and its diaspora communities. Raised in the United Arab Emirates, she holds two Master’s degrees in art history from the University of Kent (Paris) and the School of Oriental and African Studies (London). Her work has been featured in prominent publications such as Artsy, The Art Newspaper, Arab News, AD Middle East, Canvas Magazine, Vogue Arabia, Al Arabiya English, The National UAE, and others. Through her writing, Rawaa tells personal and engaging stories that reflect the richness and diversity of the Arab world and the wider region.
